What is the process for the Lash Lift?
During a lash lift, a professional technician will use a silicone rod or shield to Lift your natural lashes upwards, creating a lifted and more open appearance to the eyes. Your lashes are carefully adhered to the rod or shield using a gentle adhesive, and then a perming solution is applied to reshape the lashes. This solution breaks down the disulfide bonds in the lashes, allowing them to be molded into the desired shape. After the perming solution sets, a neutralizer is applied to set the lashes in their new lifted position. The entire process usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour.
What is the process for the Lash Tint?
Following the lash lift, many individuals choose to have their lashes tinted. During this step, a semi-permanent dye is applied to the lashes to darken and enhance their color. This gives the appearance of thicker, more defined lashes without the need for mascara. The tint typically lasts around 4-6 weeks, gradually fading as your natural lashes shed and new ones grow in.
